R.S.V.P. If Not R. I. P.

The stories about the crazy life of Keith Moon seem to never end. The latest involves an invitation that The Who’s manager received this week from Olympic organizers in London requesting that Keith play at the festivities this summer.

It would be a gold medal event indeed, with Keith having been dead since 1978. It the true spirit of the man involved though, it’s hard to rule it out completely!

The Who’s manager Bill Curbishley wrote back saying that Keith now resides in Golders Green Crematorium, having lived up to the band’s classic line ‘I hope I die before I get old’, but if if they have a round tale, some glasses and candles, he might be able to be contacted! At least there’s a ghost of a chance!
