2 O’Clock 4-Play: Thursday, January 31st

In today’s 4-play, we go back to a year when the Super Bowl halftime show was performed with live guitars and voices. No pre-tracked vocals, choreographed dancing, wardrobe malfunctions, or displays of the middle finger.

The year was 2006 and the entertainment was The Rolling Stones. Location – Ford Field in Detroit. The set list – “Start Me Up,” “Rough Justice,” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” So, today’s 4-play is actually a 3-play. Watch the performance below.

But don’t worry, the Stones will be featured once again during this year’s Super Bowl…. in a commercial… for Mercedes-Benz… it stars Kate Upton. Enjoy.
