The Beatles are re-releasing, and adding to, their 1977 release “Live At The Hollywood Bowl”. This is in support of the movie”The Beatles: Eight Days A Week-The Touring Years”, a Ron Howard documentary, that hits theaters September 16th. The 13 original tracks are joined by 4 previously unreleased tracks, which were redone by Giles Martin, son of long time Beatles producer, the late George Martin.

The concerts took place in 1964 & 1965, when Howard was just a boy living in Mayberry. I don’t remember the sheriff allowing him to listen to any of those nasty ol’ rock-n-roll records.
