Before David Bowie released “Young Americans” he had about half the songs earmarked for a very soul inspired album he planned to call “The Gouster”. But then he met John Lennon and “Fame” and “Across The Universe” were added and the album took off in a new direction. It’s release now comes as the second part of a series of  retrospective box sets, this one titled “Who Can I Be Now”, covering the years 1974 – 1976.

The release features original pictures and artwork done for The Gouster, it seems the only thing we can’t get back is David himself. His special talents are missed more every day.
