It was on this day, September 24th, 1990, when AC/DC released “The Razors Edge.”  This is was the album in which “Thunderstruck” was on. In fact it was the first track, and after a lull in their popularity, it put AC/DC back in the mainstream of Rock and Roll for good.  Also on the album was “Moneytalks” and “Mistress for Christmas.”  The album would eventually go 5x platinum. It was released after “Blow Up Your Video” and right before “AC/DC Live.”  It is the only album that features drummer Chris Slade. He also did the accompanying tour and was on the “Big Gun” single in 1993, and of course most recently, toured on the Rock or Bust TOur.  Let’s take a look at the album:

Side One:

  1. Thunderstruck
  2. Fire Your Guns
  3. Moneytalks
  4. The Razors Edge
  5. Mistress For Christmas
  6. Rock Your Heart Out

Side Two:

  1. Are You Ready
  2. Got You By The Balls
  3. Shot of Love
  4. Lets Make It

Let’s check out the most popular song on the album as it was performed back in the day, August 17th, 1991, while they were on their Razors Edge tour in Donnington!  This is Thuderstruck!
