What was started by twin brothers Chuck and John Panozzo in Chicago, Styx would go on to make history as the first band to release four consecutive triple platinum albums.

The brothers recruited their high-pitched-singing next door neighbor and originally called themselves “Trade Winds.” However, another area band had that name so they called themselves Styx, after the mythological river between Earth and the underworld.

Some of their timeless hits include “Come Sail Away” and “Boat on the River.”
