Kenny Kidd

Saturdays 7p - 12a

Kenny Kidd's love for music started at an early age, sneaking into his sister's room to listen to her Zeppelin albums, when she wasn't home. The power of the guitars & drums mixed with Robert Plant's soulful vocals pounding through his headphones took him to another world, from which he never returned. In this World of Absolute Awesomeness, his musical taste was quickly defined as  "If it doesnt rock, it's garbage".

As Kidd grew older his love of Rock N Roll grew too. So much so in 2004 it drove him to take classes at The Ohio Center for Broadcasting, where he was presented with The Nev Chandler Award for Excellence in Broadcasting. He got his start in Akron radio giving news updates & running remote broadcasts. A few years later he moved on to Sandusky to host his own afternoon show where he was named the Best "On-Air" D.J. by his listeners for the local paper.

His love for Cleveland brought him back to The Land in 2011 where he joined the The Ken Carman Show on the new FM home of Cleveland Sports talk 92.3 The Fan. For years Kidd pulled double duty as part of the night show on The Fan, as well as hosting 'NCX Football encore after Browns games on 98.5 WNCX. In spring of 2016 Kidd was reunited with Ken Carman in the mornings on The Ken Carman Show with Anthony Lima, where he can be heard chiming in on the daily discussions & hijinx as well as delivering swift Sweet Chin Musics to deserving callers.

As fate would have it, Kidd's love of Rock would bring him back to pulling double duty as he is now honored with hosting All Request Saturday Night on 98.5 WNCX.
